Acquired Company Ad Examples: 3,766 Distinct Ad Creatives From 20 Companies
AdPeekly tracks 3,766 distinct ad creatives from 20 acquired company B2B companies advertising on LinkedIn. Every ad below is a separate creative template, not a variant of another, and each carries the dates it was observed running. The median Acquired campaign runs 18 days.
Observed between June 11, 2026 and September 27, 2026. Last updated September 28, 2026. How this dataset is built.
Acquired ad examples, straight from the dataset
Forty creatives, one per template, spread across the advertisers at this funding stage rather than taken from whichever company runs the most ads. The full set of 3,766 is searchable in the app.

How long do Acquired campaigns run?
The median Acquired campaign in the AdPeekly dataset runs 18 days, against a dataset-wide median of 19 days. That is 1 day shorter than the average B2B advertiser.
This figure covers the 1,596 creatives from 17 companies where LinkedIn reported a campaign start date, out of 3,766 total. Ads without a reported start date are excluded on purpose: for those, the only available measurement is how long AdPeekly has been watching them, which would describe our scraping schedule rather than anyone's campaign.
Which ad formats do Acquired companies actually use?
AdPeekly observes 8 ad formats among Acquired companies, and they are nowhere near equally used: Single Image Ad alone accounts for 62.1% of all 3,766 creatives.
| Format | Creatives | Share |
|---|---|---|
| Single Image Ad | 2,337 | 62.1% |
| Video Ad | 613 | 16.3% |
| Message Ad | 358 | 9.5% |
| Document Ad | 236 | 6.3% |
| Carousel Ad | 127 | 3.4% |
| Event Ad | 40 | 1.1% |
| Text Ad | 31 | 0.8% |
| Unclassified | 24 | 0.6% |
The Unclassified row is creatives where the scrape did not capture a format label. It is shown rather than dropped so the shares sum to the whole.
How many Acquired company ads are still live?
Of the 1,119 Acquired creatives from 11 companies that AdPeekly re-checked in the 7 days to September 28, 2026, 75% were still delivering.
Only recently re-checked advertisers are counted. Including companies that have not been revisited would measure how recently AdPeekly scraped them rather than whether their ads are running, and the two look almost identical if you do not separate them.
Who runs Acquired ads, by industry
Advertiser counts sit beside creative counts on purpose: an industry with thousands of creatives and one advertiser is that company's budget, not a pattern.
| Industry | Creatives | Advertisers |
|---|---|---|
| Cybersecurity | 851 | 2 |
| Marketing & Growth | 751 | 4 |
| Sales & Revenue | 479 | 2 |
| Construction & Real Estate Tech | 399 | 2 |
| Travel & Hospitality | 333 | 2 |
| Data & Analytics | 292 | 1 |
| Operations & Supply Chain | 215 | 1 |
| Developer Tools & Infrastructure | 156 | 2 |

Yes. AdPeekly collapses creative variants into one row per template, so 3,766 means 3,766 distinct creatives rather than the same ad counted repeatedly. Before deduplication the same Acquired companies' ads total 9,216 ad records. The median Acquired advertiser ships about 2.18 variants of each creative, so counting raw records would inflate every number on this page without adding a single new ad worth looking at.
From the campaign start and end dates LinkedIn reports on the ad itself, across the 1,596 creatives here that carry one, out of 3,766 total. That gives a median of 18 days. Ads without a reported start date are excluded from the median on purpose: for those the only measurable span is the time between AdPeekly first and last seeing them, which tracks our scraping schedule rather than the advertiser's decision. Mixing the two populations produces a number that looks precise and means nothing.
75% of the 1,119 creatives from 11 companies that AdPeekly re-checked in the 7 days to September 28, 2026. The filter is per creative, not per company: a company can have some ads inside that window and others outside it, and only the recently re-checked ones count. Creatives not revisited in that window are left out, because an ad that has not been looked at recently keeps whatever status it last had. Counting those would measure how recently AdPeekly scraped it rather than whether it is live, and the two are easy to confuse.
It is the funding stage AdPeekly's company enrichment records for each advertiser, the same field the in-app funding stage filter reads. 20 of the companies AdPeekly tracks are at the Acquired stage today. Funding stage is a snapshot, not a history: a company that has since raised a later round or been acquired is filed under its most recently recorded stage, not every stage it has ever passed through.
No. AdPeekly tracks a curated list of B2B companies, 20 of them recorded at the Acquired stage, rather than crawling every advertiser on the platform. That makes the dataset deep on the companies it follows and silent on the ones it does not. Read the shares and medians here as describing the tracked set, not every Acquired company running LinkedIn ads. The methodology page names the selection rule and the known biases.
Only one company at a time, and only while the campaign is live. LinkedIn's Ad Library has no keyword search, no funding-stage filter, no export and no archive, so ads disappear when campaigns end and nothing records how long they ran. That is why this page exists: a cross-company view of Acquired advertising with the history still attached.
What we noticed
Acquired companies are the second-smallest stage published here by advertiser count, 20 companies, ahead of only Bootstrapped's 13. Two industries carry disproportionate weight in its mix: Cybersecurity and Marketing & Growth account for 1,602 of its 3,766 creatives, 42.5%, from just 6 companies combined. Its 18-day median campaign ties Private Equity for the second-shortest of the eight stages with a stated duration, behind only Public/IPO's 14.
