Free Trial Ad Examples: 461 Distinct Ad Creatives From 101 Companies
AdPeekly tracks 461 distinct ad creatives from 101 B2B companies running a free trial offer on LinkedIn. Every ad below is a separate creative template, not a variant of another, and each carries the dates it was observed running. Campaign duration for Free Trial ads is not yet published here: see "How is Free Trial campaign duration measured?" below for why.
Observed between June 11, 2026 and September 28, 2026. Last updated September 28, 2026. How this dataset is built.

Forty creatives, one per template, spread across the advertisers running this offer rather than taken from whichever company runs the most ads. The full set of 461 is searchable in the app.

How long do Free Trial campaigns run?
Not published yet. AdPeekly only states a median campaign length once a category has at least 300 creatives with a reported start date to compute it from, the same floor the campaign duration research page uses. Free Trial ads have 245 dated creatives in the dataset today, from 60 advertisers, below that floor. Rather than publish a median built on too thin a sample, this page states the raw count and nothing more. The dataset-wide median across every intent category is 19 days, measured on 40,816 dated creatives.
Which ad formats carry a free trial offer?
AdPeekly observes 6 ad formats among Free Trial ads, and they are nowhere near equally used: Single Image Ad alone accounts for 69.6% of all 461 creatives.
| Format | Creatives | Share |
|---|---|---|
| Single Image Ad | 321 | 69.6% |
| Video Ad | 74 | 16.1% |
| Message Ad | 24 | 5.2% |
| Text Ad | 21 | 4.6% |
| Carousel Ad | 20 | 4.3% |
| Unclassified | 1 | 0.2% |
The Unclassified row is creatives where the scrape did not capture a format label. It is shown rather than dropped so the shares sum to the whole.
How many Free Trial ads are still live?
Of the 119 Free Trial creatives from 35 companies that AdPeekly re-checked in the 7 days to September 28, 2026, 72.3% were still delivering.
Only recently re-checked advertisers are counted. Including companies that have not been revisited would measure how recently AdPeekly scraped them rather than whether their ads are running, and the two look almost identical if you do not separate them.
Who runs free trial ads, by industry
Advertiser counts sit beside creative counts on purpose: an industry with thousands of creatives and one advertiser is that company's budget, not a pattern.
| Industry | Creatives | Advertisers |
|---|---|---|
| HR & Recruiting | 77 | 7 |
| AI & Automation | 62 | 12 |
| Cybersecurity | 59 | 13 |
| Productivity & Collaboration | 48 | 6 |
| Sales & Revenue | 39 | 9 |
| Data & Analytics | 37 | 14 |
| Developer Tools & Infrastructure | 30 | 12 |
| Marketing & Growth | 26 | 4 |

Yes. AdPeekly collapses creative variants into one row per template, so 461 means 461 distinct creatives rather than the same ad counted repeatedly. Before deduplication, ads carrying a free trial offer total 1,500 ad records. The median advertiser running this offer ships about 2 variants of each creative, so counting raw records would inflate every number on this page without adding a single new ad worth looking at.
AdPeekly only states a median once a category has at least 300 dated creatives to compute it from, the same floor the /stats/linkedin-campaign-duration page uses. Free Trial ads have 245 dated creatives in the dataset today, from 60 advertisers, below that floor, so no median is published here rather than one built on too thin a sample. That total will grow as the scraper keeps running; check back, or see the industry and hub pages, which already clear the floor.
72.3% of the 119 creatives from 35 companies that AdPeekly re-checked in the 7 days to September 28, 2026. The filter is per creative, not per company: a company can have some ads inside that window and others outside it, and only the recently re-checked ones count. Creatives not revisited in that window are left out, because an ad that has not been looked at recently keeps whatever status it last had. Counting those would measure how recently AdPeekly scraped it rather than whether it is live, and the two are easy to confuse.
AdPeekly's ad enrichment classifies the offer each ad is built around, 101 B2B companies have at least one ad classified as a free trial offer today. An ad can carry more than one offer at once, for example one that promotes both a demo and a free trial, so the same creative can legitimately appear on more than one intent page here. That is expected, not double-counting: each page's numbers describe ads carrying that offer, not a partition of the whole dataset.
No. AdPeekly tracks a curated list of B2B companies, 101 of them running at least one free trial offer today, rather than crawling every advertiser on the platform. That makes the dataset deep on the companies it follows and silent on the ones it does not. Read the shares and medians here as describing the tracked set, not every Free Trial ad running on LinkedIn. The methodology page names the selection rule and the known biases.
Only one company at a time, and only while the campaign is live, and LinkedIn's Ad Library has no way to filter by offer type at all, so finding every Free Trial ad means opening each competitor's page individually and reading the copy yourself. LinkedIn's Ad Library also has no keyword search, no export and no archive, so ads disappear when campaigns end. That is why this page exists: a cross-company view of Free Trial advertising with the history still attached.
Figures computed directly from the AdPeekly dataset on September 28, 2026. See the methodology for collection cadence, the deduplication rule and known biases, or how LinkedIn's own Ad Library compares.
