How long do HR and Recruiting campaigns run?

The median HR tech campaign in the AdPeekly dataset runs 16 days, against a dataset-wide median of 19 days. That is 3 days shorter than the average B2B advertiser.

This figure covers the 3,660 creatives from 44 companies where LinkedIn reported a campaign start date, out of 10,188 total. Ads without a reported start date are excluded on purpose: for those, the only available measurement is how long AdPeekly has been watching them, which would describe our scraping schedule rather than anyone's campaign.

Which ad formats do HR and Recruiting companies actually use?

AdPeekly observes 8 ad formats across this vertical, and they are nowhere near equally used: Single Image Ad alone accounts for 63.7% of all 10,188 creatives.

    FormatCreativesShare
    Single Image Ad6,49163.7%
    Video Ad1,84718.1%

    Carousel Ad2672.6%
    Unclassified860.8%
    Text Ad790.8%
    Event Ad660.6%

The Unclassified row is creatives where the scrape did not capture a format label. It is shown rather than dropped so the shares sum to the whole.

How many HR and Recruiting ads are still live?

Of the 2,252 HR tech creatives from 28 companies that AdPeekly re-checked in the 7 days to September 22, 2026, 78.3% were still delivering.

Only recently re-checked advertisers are counted. Including companies that have not been revisited would measure how recently AdPeekly scraped them rather than whether their ads are running, and the two look almost identical if you do not separate them.

HR and Recruiting advertising, by product category

Where the 49 advertisers in this vertical actually sit. Categories backed by fewer than three advertisers are left out, because one company's ad output is not a view of a market.

    Questions about this data

    What we noticed

HR tech runs the shortest campaigns of the four verticals published here, a 16-day median against 19 across the corpus, and at the same time has the highest share still delivering of the four, at 78.3%. Those two facts only fit together one way: this category cycles creative constantly rather than letting a campaign ride. It is also the most concentrated of the four, with the three largest advertisers accounting for 15.9% of all creatives across the smallest advertiser base here, 49 companies, so the pattern is driven by a relatively small number of companies shipping a lot.
