How Long Do B2B LinkedIn Ad Campaigns Run? 40,816 Observed Campaigns, By Industry and Funding Stage

The median B2B LinkedIn ad campaign in AdPeekly's dataset runs 19 days, measured across 40,816 distinct ad creatives from 531 distinct advertisers where LinkedIn reported a campaign start date. That figure hides real structure: industry moves it by roughly 3.5x, and funding stage barely moves it until the later rounds. Durations below are observed, not claimed, and every median prints its sample size beside it.

The full distribution, not just the median

A median alone hides how spread out campaign lengths actually are. 23.8% of dated campaigns run 7 days or less, and 11.8% run past 90 days.

How long campaigns run, by industry

The spread is real: among the 17 industries with enough data to report, the shortest median is Energy & CleanTech at 12 days and the longest is Logistics & Supply Chain at 42 days, against the 19-day site-wide median above. Industries below 5 advertisers or 300 dated campaigns are excluded from this table rather than shown on a thin sample.

How long campaigns run, by funding stage

Funding stage moves duration far less than industry does. Seed through Series C cluster within a narrow band, and the visible step-up only shows up at Series D and Series E. Series D and Series E are shown at the gate's minimum sample size (5 advertisers) and should be read directionally, not as precise estimates. "Public / IPO" ships at its own measured numbers below; it is not merged with the separate, thinner "IPO" label some companies carry, which does not clear this table's gate on its own.

    How these numbers were measured

Source and filter. Published AdPeekly ads, deduplicated to one row per creative template, restricted to the 40,816 of those where LinkedIn also reported a campaign start date. For the rest, the only measurable span is how long AdPeekly has been watching, which describes our scraping schedule rather than the advertiser's decision, so those are excluded rather than mixed in. Industries and funding stages below 5 advertisers or 300 dated campaigns are excluded from their tables, a page-specific bar stricter than AdPeekly's browsable gallery pages, because this page states single numbers as citable facts.
