Bootstrapped Company Ad Examples: 1,687 Distinct Ad Creatives From 13 Companies
AdPeekly tracks 1,687 distinct ad creatives from 13 bootstrapped B2B companies advertising on LinkedIn. Every ad below is a separate creative template, not a variant of another, and each carries the dates it was observed running. Campaign duration for Bootstrapped companies is not yet published here: see "How is Bootstrapped campaign duration measured?" below for why.
Observed between June 12, 2026 and September 28, 2026. Last updated September 28, 2026. How this dataset is built.
Bootstrapped ad examples, straight from the dataset
Forty creatives, one per template, spread across the advertisers at this funding stage rather than taken from whichever company runs the most ads. The full set of 1,687 is searchable in the app.

How long do Bootstrapped campaigns run?
Not published yet. AdPeekly only states a median campaign length once a stage has at least 300 creatives with a reported start date to compute it from, the same floor the campaign duration research page uses. Bootstrapped companies have 283 dated creatives in the dataset today, from 9 advertisers, below that floor. Rather than publish a median built on too thin a sample, this page states the raw count and nothing more. The dataset-wide median across every funding stage is 19 days, measured on 40,816 dated creatives.
Which ad formats do Bootstrapped companies actually use?
AdPeekly observes 8 ad formats among Bootstrapped companies, and they are nowhere near equally used: Single Image Ad alone accounts for 57.4% of all 1,687 creatives.
| Format | Creatives | Share |
|---|---|---|
| Single Image Ad | 968 | 57.4% |
| Video Ad | 401 | 23.8% |
| Document Ad | 116 | 6.9% |
| Message Ad | 99 | 5.9% |
| Text Ad | 44 | 2.6% |
| Carousel Ad | 34 | 2.0% |
| Event Ad | 14 | 0.8% |
| Unclassified | 11 | 0.7% |
The Unclassified row is creatives where the scrape did not capture a format label. It is shown rather than dropped so the shares sum to the whole.
How many Bootstrapped company ads are still live?
Of the 322 Bootstrapped creatives from 8 companies that AdPeekly re-checked in the 7 days to September 28, 2026, 90.1% were still delivering.
Only recently re-checked advertisers are counted. Including companies that have not been revisited would measure how recently AdPeekly scraped them rather than whether their ads are running, and the two look almost identical if you do not separate them.
Who runs Bootstrapped ads, by industry
Advertiser counts sit beside creative counts on purpose: an industry with thousands of creatives and one advertiser is that company's budget, not a pattern.
| Industry | Creatives | Advertisers |
|---|---|---|
| Marketing & Growth | 537 | 5 |
| Productivity & Collaboration | 321 | 2 |
| Media & Entertainment | 316 | 1 |
| Developer Tools & Infrastructure | 208 | 2 |
| Finance & Fintech | 191 | 1 |
| Cybersecurity | 99 | 1 |
| Consulting & Professional Services | 15 | 1 |

Yes. AdPeekly collapses creative variants into one row per template, so 1,687 means 1,687 distinct creatives rather than the same ad counted repeatedly. Before deduplication the same Bootstrapped companies' ads total 4,521 ad records. The median Bootstrapped advertiser ships about 3.05 variants of each creative, so counting raw records would inflate every number on this page without adding a single new ad worth looking at.
AdPeekly only states a median once a stage has at least 300 dated creatives to compute it from, the same floor the /stats/linkedin-campaign-duration page uses. Bootstrapped companies have 283 dated creatives in the dataset today, from 9 advertisers, below that floor, so no median is published here rather than one built on too thin a sample. That total will grow as the scraper keeps running; check back, or see the industry and hub pages, which already clear the floor.
90.1% of the 322 creatives from 8 companies that AdPeekly re-checked in the 7 days to September 28, 2026. The filter is per creative, not per company: a company can have some ads inside that window and others outside it, and only the recently re-checked ones count. Creatives not revisited in that window are left out, because an ad that has not been looked at recently keeps whatever status it last had. Counting those would measure how recently AdPeekly scraped it rather than whether it is live, and the two are easy to confuse.
It is the funding stage AdPeekly's company enrichment records for each advertiser, the same field the in-app funding stage filter reads. 13 of the companies AdPeekly tracks are at the Bootstrapped stage today. Funding stage is a snapshot, not a history: a company that has since raised a later round or been acquired is filed under its most recently recorded stage, not every stage it has ever passed through.
No. AdPeekly tracks a curated list of B2B companies, 13 of them recorded at the Bootstrapped stage, rather than crawling every advertiser on the platform. That makes the dataset deep on the companies it follows and silent on the ones it does not. Read the shares and medians here as describing the tracked set, not every Bootstrapped company running LinkedIn ads. The methodology page names the selection rule and the known biases.
Only one company at a time, and only while the campaign is live. LinkedIn's Ad Library has no keyword search, no funding-stage filter, no export and no archive, so ads disappear when campaigns end and nothing records how long they ran. That is why this page exists: a cross-company view of Bootstrapped advertising with the history still attached.
What we noticed
Bootstrapped is the smallest funding-stage page published here, 1,687 creatives from 13 companies, and the only one of the eight thin enough on duration data that this page states no median: just 283 of its creatives carry a reported start date, under the 300-creative floor AdPeekly requires before publishing one (see the FAQ below). It compensates with the highest delivery rate of the eight, 90.1% of recently re-scraped creatives still live, and the most creative variants shipped per template, a median of 3.05. Wistia alone accounts for 316 of its 1,687 creatives, 18.7%, the most concentrated single-advertiser share of any funding stage published here.
