Legal and Compliance Ad Examples: 4,030 Distinct Ad Creatives From 28 Companies
AdPeekly tracks 4,030 distinct legal tech ad creatives from 28 B2B companies advertising on LinkedIn. Every ad below is a separate creative template, not a variant of another, and each carries the dates it was observed running. The median legal tech campaign runs 19 days.
Observed between June 11, 2026 and September 23, 2026. Last updated September 23, 2026. How this dataset is built.

How long do Legal and Compliance campaigns run?
The median legal tech campaign in the AdPeekly dataset runs 19 days, against a dataset-wide median of 19 days. That puts legal tech exactly at the B2B average.
This figure covers the 2,182 creatives from 24 companies where LinkedIn reported a campaign start date, out of 4,030 total. Ads without a reported start date are excluded on purpose: for those, the only available measurement is how long AdPeekly has been watching them, which would describe our scraping schedule rather than anyone's campaign.
Which ad formats do Legal and Compliance companies actually use?
AdPeekly observes 8 ad formats across this vertical, and they are nowhere near equally used: Single Image Ad alone accounts for 66.6% of all 4,030 creatives.
| Format | Creatives | Share |
|---|---|---|
| Single Image Ad | 2,682 | 66.6% |
| Video Ad | 705 | 17.5% |
| Document Ad | 232 | 5.8% |
| Message Ad | 189 | 4.7% |
| Carousel Ad | 160 | 4.0% |
| Unclassified | 36 | 0.9% |
| Event Ad | 15 | 0.4% |
| Text Ad | 11 | 0.3% |
The Unclassified row is creatives where the scrape did not capture a format label. It is shown rather than dropped so the shares sum to the whole.
How many Legal and Compliance ads are still live?
Of the 1,257 legal tech creatives from 21 companies that AdPeekly re-checked in the 7 days to September 23, 2026, 64.6% were still delivering.
Only recently re-checked advertisers are counted. Including companies that have not been revisited would measure how recently AdPeekly scraped them rather than whether their ads are running, and the two look almost identical if you do not separate them.
Legal and Compliance advertising, by product category
Where the 28 advertisers in this vertical actually sit. Categories backed by fewer than three advertisers are left out, because one company's ad output is not a view of a market.
| Category | Creatives | Advertisers |
|---|---|---|
| Compliance | 1,511 | 11 |
| LegalTech | 891 | 6 |
| Contract Management | 486 | 3 |
| Compliance Automation | 470 | 3 |
| Risk Management | 235 | 5 |
Who runs Legal and Compliance ads, by company stage
Advertiser counts sit beside creative counts on purpose: a stage with thousands of creatives and one advertiser is that company's budget, not a pattern.
| Stage | Creatives | Advertisers |
|---|---|---|
| Series A | 1,796 | 12 |
| Series B | 1,042 | 9 |
| Series C | 780 | 3 |
| Public / IPO | 293 | 1 |
| Seed | 119 | 3 |

Yes. AdPeekly collapses creative variants into one row per template, so 4,030 means 4,030 distinct creatives rather than the same ad counted repeatedly. Before deduplication the same legal tech set holds 10,522 ad records. The median advertiser in this vertical ships about 2.16 variants of each creative, so counting raw records would inflate every number on this page without adding a single new ad worth looking at.
From the campaign start and end dates LinkedIn reports on the ad itself, across the 2,182 creatives here that carry one, out of 4,030 total. Ads without a reported start date are excluded from the median on purpose: for those the only measurable span is the time between AdPeekly first and last seeing them, which tracks our scraping schedule rather than the advertiser's decision. Mixing the two populations produces a number that looks precise and means nothing.
64.6% of the 1,257 creatives from 21 companies that AdPeekly re-checked in the 7 days to September 23, 2026. The filter is per creative, not per company: a company can have some ads inside that window and others outside it, and only the recently re-checked ones count. Creatives not revisited in that window are left out, because an ad that has not been looked at recently keeps whatever status it last had. Counting those would measure how recently AdPeekly scraped it rather than whether it is live, and the two are easy to confuse.
No. AdPeekly tracks a curated list of B2B companies, 28 of them in this vertical, rather than crawling every advertiser on the platform. That makes the dataset deep on the companies it follows and silent on the ones it does not. Read the shares and medians here as describing the tracked set, not the whole industry. The methodology page names the selection rule and the known biases.
Only one company at a time, and only while the campaign is live. LinkedIn's Ad Library has no keyword search, no industry filter, no export and no archive, so ads disappear when campaigns end and nothing records how long they ran. That is why this page exists: a cross-company view of legal tech advertising with the history still attached.
What we noticed
Legal and compliance has the second lowest share of recently re-scraped creatives still delivering among the twelve verticals published here, 64.6%, just ahead of operations' 62.3% and well under the 72.6% median across all twelve. That is despite a middling 19-day campaign median, exactly the corpus figure, so campaigns here run a normal length but get relaunched less than most categories once they finish. With only 28 advertisers, the third smallest base published, it still splits into five distinct sub-categories, as many as devtools manages with almost twice the companies.
